Octoberfest at Bear Mountain State Park
Each year, beginning the last weekend of September, Bear Mountain celebrates Oktoberfest with good food, good drink, good music, and local crafts. The Oktoberfest is managed by the Bear Mountain Inn.
Dates: Last weekend in September thru October (Including Columbus Day)
Parking = $8 (cash only) per vehicle (2015)
Admission = Free

Tips
You can bring your own picnic and eat at the picnic tables overlooking Hessian Lake or bring your own snacks to go with the beer. If you're here for the beer, bring your own large beer steins (refill for free). It gets crowded early, so be ready for long lines at food and beer booths.
