The park offers 30 acres of land that is heavily wooded with a mature stand of hardwood trees primarily composed of oaks, maples, ash, hickory, tulip and sycamore. The site contains federal wetlands that include a 2.5 acre pond, the Demarest Kill Stream and its tributaries.

Dutch Garden, 3-acres in size, is located at 37 South Main Street, New City, NY 10956 in Rockland County.The garden consists of a brick teahouse with a fireplace, a gazebo, an arbor and a bandstand. "Originally a brick wall (part of which remains) enclosed the gardens. A variety of flowers and tulips can be found along the brick lined paths. The western side has a slope, which at one time was covered with daffodils."

Kennedy Dells Park, 179-acres in size, is located at 355 North Main Street, New City, NY 10956 in Rockland County.
The park has a flat rolling topography. The extreme westerly portion is heavily wooded consisting of Hemlock, White Pine, Beech, Maple, Black and Red Oak, White Ash, and Black Locust. Crum Creek bounds the Park on the westerly side along which winds a hiking trail that looks down at the stream below.
